A tree-planting action dedicated to the Victory Day takes place08/11/2021

A tree-planting action took place, in connection with November 8th, the Victory Day, on the joint initiative of the State Housing Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 

The action was arranged on the territory of the Hovsan Residential Complex, the second project of the State Housing Development Agency. Chairperson of the State Housing Development Agency’s Board of Directors Sadig Sadygov and minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, as well as some 100 employees of the entities joined the action. 

Held on the occasion of the Victory Day, the primary objective of the event was to make contribution to the protection of the environment, increasing greenery, and ensuring ecological safety. 

1000 new trees were planted during the action. Of them, 670 were Eldar pines, cypress and other tree types, and 330 various fruit trees. Eldar pines, plane-trees, olive trees and over 100 other plants were looked after during the action.
