The selection of 249 affordable apartments at the Hovsan Residential Complex successfully completed30/06/2020

Sale of 249 apartments on building No.1 at the Hovsan Residential Complex – another project of the State Housing Development Agency – by way of payment using a mortgage credit, as well as at citizens’ own cost, started at 11:00 on 30.06.2020, ending successfully in a short span of time.

The selection of 249 apartments put to sale in accordance with Order No.1418, dated 24.05.2017, of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been carried out via the electronic system “Affordable Housing” over the portal “Electronic Government”(www.e-gov.az), reliably, safely, in a transparent manner, and uninterrupted work regime. The number of people with an electronic cabinet in “Affordable Housing” System is 14,878.

In today’s sales, the number of those participating in the selection of 249 apartments was 1270. According to the information by this time, 222 apartments out of 249 were successfully signed by citizens, and their applications filed.

The apartment selection process was observed at the operational headquarters established in the administrative building of the State Housing Development Agency in accordance with special quarantine rules, with participation of representatives from the State Agency for Special Communication and Information Security under the State Special Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, the Electronic Government’s Development Centre of the State Agency for Serving Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and "Ernst & Young".

Selection of apartments in the order of waiting in accordance with the “Rules of acquisition by citizens of apartments being at the disposal of the State Housing Development Agency on preferential terms” will start at 11:00 on July 3rd, 2020, to continue until 11:00 on July 7th, 2020.

In accordance with the Rules, an apartment chosen in the process of sale may be selected be two more persons successively in the order of waiting within the same sale announcement. To this end, a user, entering the relevant section in his electronic cabinet in the “Affordable Housing” system within the established term, looks for an apartment, having chosen the payment method, the apartment selection method, and the project. In the process of viewing apartments, a few users may view the same apartment, and the first 2 persons who have pushed the button “Confirm” may choose that apartment in the order of waiting. Thereafter, the user should sign an application for the apartment he has chosen in the order of waiting, and submit. Should the person who had chosen the apartment fail to acquire it for whatever reason, this apartment will be offered to the person who had chosen it in the first row in the order of waiting. And if this apartment was not acquired by the person who had chosen it in the first row in the order of waiting, it will be offered to the person who had chosen it in the second row in the order of waiting.
