Employees of SHDA plant 6 thousand trees in the framework of the initiative to plant 650 thousand trees06/12/2019

The State Housing Development Agency, joining the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva to plant 650 thousand trees in Azerbaijan to mark the 650th anniversary of great Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi, held a tree-planting action.

The action was organized around the Hovsan Residential Complex, the 2nd project of the State Housing Development Agency, on the territory of Hovsan settlement, Surakhany district of Baku. 

6000 Eldar pines, fir-trees and various types of fruit trees were planted during the action by over 200 employees of the State Housing Development Agency and subordinated to it “MIDA” Limited Liability Company, and vegetation existing on then territory was looked after, and cleaning and improvement works were carried out within the greenery area.

The ecological policy implemented by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev has been successfully continued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, and protection of the environment, vegetation and issues concerning the population’s living in an ecologically clean environment is paid a special attention. The implementation of such an initiative calls on the country’s citizens, especially the young generation, for a joint action to improve the ecological condition in Azerbaijan, protect the environment and expand vegetation, along with making contribution to eternalizing the great poet’s memory.
