Inauguration of the Yasamal Residential Complex of the State Housing Development Agency takes place. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attend the opening ceremony26/12/2018
On December 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the Yasamal Residential Complex of the State Housing Development Agency, and laid the foundation of a new residential complex of the Agency.
Chairperson of the State Housing Development Agency’s Board of Directors Sadiq Sadygov gave information about the works done.
It was noted that special attention is being shown in the designing process to ensure that there are front yards in the complexes, and greenery planting and renovation works are carried out on the territories. In accordance with the building specifications, the area under construction of residential buildings may occupy up to 40 percent of the total construction site. This index is about 25 percent in the Yasamal Residential Complex, and special attention will be focused on these norms while designing other buildings too. The total area of the Yasamal Residential Complex, which is inaugurated, is 11.6 hectares. In December 2016, the foundations of the first nine-storied residential building of the complex and of the secondary school located on the territory were laid. 29 buildings were constructed on the territory, in accordance with the layout documents. Out of these buildings, 12 are twelve-storied and 17 nine-storied. Total number of the apartments in the complex is 1843, with 324 one-room, 1052 two-room and 467 three-room apartments. Area of the one-room apartments is 34 m2, two-room apartments 58 m2, and three-room apartments being about 71 m2. The apartments are offered to citizens with the fully completed interior finishing, provided with kitchen furniture and gas stove, and individual heating system. In September this year, 324 apartments in 5 buildings were placed to sale through the “Affordable Housing” system over the portal “Electronic Government”, according to the general layout of the complex. Purchase and sale of 278 apartments has been completed.
Moreover, 95 percents of the construction materials used in the construction of the complex and interior finishing works are of local manufacture. Some 1500 people were involved in the construction works.
Creation of a transport infrastructure of the complex is also a focus of attention. The area is near the capital’s main transport network and “Inshaatchilar” Underground Station. Opening of transport routes to the residential complex in four directions of the city is scheduled by the Baku Transport Agency.
Execution of this project is another manifestation of President Ilham Aliyev’s paying high attention and showing care towards solving issues facing our citizens. This project is distinguished in terms of improving housing and household conditions of citizens, ensuring construction of apartment buildings in contemporary style, meeting environmental and energy saving requirements.
The building for Secondary School No. 161 was also constructed on the territory of the complex. The President and the First Lady became familiarized with the facilities created here.
Education minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed that there are 36 classrooms in the secondary school designed for 960 pupils. Out of them, 15 are for primary and 21 for upper form pupils. All classrooms have been provided with necessary teaching equipment. Here will also be 6 education laboratories placed at pupils’ disposal.
The facilities provided in this education establishment is a true manifestation of the successful outcomes of the reforms carried out in the education sphere in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in recent years. All these have led to a new stage in the sphere of education in Azerbaijan in terms of quality. Construction of new school buildings, basic reconstruction of existing education establishments are part and parcel of the works carried out in the country towards modernizing education. All these show that education and science in Azerbaijan have been enjoying high-level state care, which is not accidental, for one of the priority elements of the policy pursued by the state is advancing human capital further, and bringing up a young generation with high intellect and skills. From this standpoint, investments made into the sphere of education, including construction of new school buildings, construction of additional buildings at existing schools, and basic repair thereof is of significant importance.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva became familiarized with the facilities created in the kindergarten designed for 240 children on the territory of the Complex.
According to the information given, the group, training and game rooms in the kindergarten have been provided with necessary equipment. A canteen has been created in the kindergarten in order to ensure that children are nourished with rich and quality foods in the course of a day. Facilities provided in the kindergarten enable education of children on a high level, playing a significant part in bringing up them as skilled, well-educated citizens with rich worldview. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been making significant contributions to the construction of such state-of-the-art nursery-kindergartens. Extensive renovation and greenery planting works have been carried out on the territory where the kindergarten is located. Various amusement facilities have been installed in the front yard for children’s entertainment.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the ceremony of laying the foundation of a new residential complex with total area of 15.4 hectares.
It was informed that construction of 40 residential buildings is planned in the complex. Of them, 22 will be nine-storied and 18 twelve-storied buildings. 160 one-room, 114 studio-type, 674 two-room, 1128 three-room and 126 four-room apartments will be constructed in this complex. Total number of the apartments on the buildings is over 2200. These apartments too will be offered to citizens with fully completed interior finishing, and provided with kitchen furniture.
President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the new residential complex.
Along with the residential buildings, construction of social and service objects, child playgrounds, 3 kindergartens and a secondary school building for 1200 pupils is intended. All necessary infrastructure will be created in the residential complex.
