The category of "scientific workers with at least 3 years of scientific work" has been added to the list of citizens entitled to affordable housing in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1560 dated July 21 2017.
For the purpose of implementing the said Decree of the head of state, the State Housing Development Agency has made necessary amendments to the "Affordable Housing" system, the documents to be submitted by the scientific workers with at least 3 years of scientific work have been defined, and an appeal has been made to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan to specify the list of relevant scientific institutions. The Cabinet of Ministers has defined a list of scientific institutions and organizations complying with the requirements of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "On Science" dated June 14 2016. Scientific workers with at least 3 years of scientific work at the institutions and organizations given in this list have the right to benefit from affordable housing regardless of their age or family status.
The list of documents to be submitted by these persons and related scientific institutions can be found on the homepage of www.mida.gov.az and www.mida.gov.az in the section of “Required documents”.
Scientific workers with at least 3 years of scientific work at scientific institutions and organizations included in the list submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers may apply using an Electronic Signature or ASAN Imza (Easy signature) through the "Affordable Housing" system created on the E-Government portal (www.e-gov.az) starting from February 14 2018.
Also, relevant services will be continued at ASAN service centers No 1, 3 and 5 in Baku city and Sumgayit ASAN service center in order to assist citizens in answering questions on the use of the "Affordable Housing" electronic system and registration of applications in the system.
Scientific workers who will register in the "Affordable Housing" system and have their own electronic cabinet will have the same rights as other people who had an electronic cabinet before.
